Me in a Nutshell

My name is Logan Thurman. I grew up in Southern Oregon, but I was born in the Bay Area, which may have somehow influenced my entering into software 👀. I value work ethic, and hold myself and those around me to high standards of integrity. I look to cultivate teamwork, equal consideration of ideas, and personal expression. That being said, we have a great planet, so I'm here to enjoy life 😄 and help others when I can so they can do they same!

My Philosophy on Code

I first learned to code by making computer games, a hobby which, as you can see in the Arcade page, has continued through college. What fascinates me about software is how you can use the analytical and creative sides of the brain at the same time. I love solving problems, and I love creating programs that make humans' lives easier!

The World is Smaller Than We Think

Before starting at Brigham Young University, I took a 2 year gap to volunteer in Guatemala, where I learned fluent Spanish. That has since spurred a collection of international travels, including a study abroad in Spain, where more than the sights or experiences I value the connections I've made with people all over the world. However in respect for those people's privacy, I'll just show the sights here :D
